The Silver Swan
The silver swan, who living had no note,
When death approach'd, unlock'd her silent throat;
Leaning her breast against the reedy shore,
Thus sung her first and last, and sung no more.
Farewell, all joys; O Death, come close mine eyes;
More geese than swans now live, more fools than wise.
Based on the madrigal by Orlando Gibbons (1583-1625) and recorded by Qntal on their recent Qntal V: Silver Swan album.

Don't feel sad. I know how that feels. Try a walk or knit or watch a fun movie. Life is so short and we spend too much time feeling bad. Look up and put a smile on your face. Keep posting and check out other blogs! We are all friends here and will listen any time.
Thank you Donna, you are very sweet. I am taking some time off, just to be home and organize and knit. I haven't had a vacation in a long time. This will be a nice luxury. It really lifted mys pirits to make that decision on Friday.
